Yes, inspired by our Taos
friends, Jim and Kristi, we found a Wal-Mart in Santa Rosa and stayed there
for the night amidst several other RVs doing the same. Elena, still
smiling after a somewhat rough night's sleep, gives a wave.

We made our way to Crescent City,

After our hike through Lady Bird
Johnson Grove, we drove to a place called Big Tree (gee, I wonder why they
call it that?!). Along the way, we passed these elk along the side of
the road. |
