Figuring things out at the start
of our Barr Lake walk around the lake, an 8.8-mile walk (about 8 miles too
long!), Brighton, CO (5/30) |
Bird-watching a-plenty at the
beginning of our walk - not so much towards the end |

Trying to see some eagle nests,
but to no avail |
Unfortunately, this was the only
eagle we saw all day |

By the time we got to mile 3, we
were "cow"nting the moments until the end of our walk |
We thought we should just keep
"moo"ving along and not bother these creatures from their feast |

The path just seemed to keep on
going... |
We had to walk along train tracks
which were actually outside of the state park itself - at this point, we
weren't exactly sure we were on the right path |

bazillion flying insects |
